Gardenista, a premium ready-to-serve cocktail made with vodka, tequila, or bourbon and blends garden flavours of herbs, fresh lime juice, ginger and a kick of jalapeño,has  announced its official launch.

Gardenista is an ingredient-focused cocktail inspired by the mountains, which draws from the popular Gardener cocktail, originally featured at Matsuhisa in Aspen, Colorado.

Available in three varieties: Vodka, smooth with a crisp finish; Tequila, zesty lime brightness stopped with a kick; and Bourbon, warm undertones complemented with a tangy twist.

Gardenista is meant to be shaken, poured or spritzed. One bottle of Gardenista serves five cocktails and is low-calorie with 98 calories per serving. Each variety of Gardenista is 15% ABV and features main flavours of ginger, jalapeño, lime, thyme and raw cane sugar.

Gardenista is independently owned and operated, founded by a collective of high-level experts in the spirits and hospitality industry, with extensive knowledge in sales, distribution, finance, consumer packaged goods and marketing.

The team consists of members such as Kevin Berg, Vince Parrinello and more. Gardenista’s founders have successfully launched various spirit brands such as Effen Vodka and have worked with Fortune 500 companies including Constellation, Coors, Bacardi and PepsiCo.

While enjoying dinner at Aspen’s most exclusive Japanese restaurant, Matsuhisa, Gardenista’s founders noticed they were immersed in a sea of bright green cocktails. After asking, “What’s that green drink?” and trying the cocktail, the founders knew this cocktail wasn’t just a drink but an experience.

The team was compelled by the cocktail and decided to bottle up the garden flavours of green herbs and ginger, fresh lime juice, organic cane sugar and a kick of subtle heat from jalapeños with high-quality spirits.

“We’re so proud to have successfully taken this incredible experience straight from the bar to the shelf with Gardenista. These delicious ready-to-serve high-quality premium cocktails have bold and unique flavors that are truly special. Our team can’t wait for consumers to experience and fall in love with Gardenista just like we did,” Jason Merz, director of marketing.
