Terram® strengthens UK sales with key account hires

Terram expands its UK sales capability with two key appointments. James White joins geotextiles in southern England, while Adam Carlin takes a rail-focused key account role.

Terram® has announced the appointment of James White and Adam Carlin to key account roles, strengthening its commercial capability across the civil engineering and rail infrastructure sectors.

James White joins Terram® as Key Account Manager for geotextiles in the South of England. He brings more than 20 years’ experience from the civil engineering merchant and distribution sector, with a background spanning sales, account management and specification-led project support. In his new role, James will work closely with merchants, contractors and engineers to support major civil and infrastructure schemes across the region.

Reflecting on his move to Terram®, James said: “Terram has long been recognised as a market leader, so the opportunity to join the business really appealed to me. What stood out straight away is the depth of knowledge within the team and the willingness to support customers properly, whether that’s through specification, technical advice or product development.”

Alongside this appointment, Adam Carlin has joined Terram® as Key Account Manager for Rail. With nearly two decades of experience across the rail industry, including site delivery, project management and rail technology, Adam returns to the sector with a focus on strengthening Terram’s presence across the UK rail network.

Adam said: “Terram is a name that’s been part of the rail industry for decades, and there’s a reason its products have become synonymous with geotextiles on the network. My focus is on getting back out in front of routes, regions and designers to clearly demonstrate the performance, longevity and value that Terram brings.”

The dual appointments reflect Terram®’s continued investment in sector-specific expertise and customer support. Sales Manager Adam Brooksbank said the combination of civil and rail experience was a deliberate move:

“James and Adam bring different strengths, but both understand how critical it is to support customers with practical, technically sound solutions. Their experience allows us to engage more effectively with specifiers, contractors and asset owners, and to continue building on Terram’s reputation across key infrastructure markets.”

Both roles will support Terram®’s focus on specification-led growth, major infrastructure projects and long-term performance, as the business continues to develop and promote geosynthetic solutions for demanding civil and rail applications.
