Nestlé has signed an agreement with the brewing company Damm through which, from 2025, it will become the manufacturer and distributor of Nestea, the leading brand in the tea soft drink segment, for the markets of Spain, Andorra and Gibraltar.

Damm will produce the entire range of Nestea flavours and formats for the food and hospitality channels at its factory located in Salem (Valencia).

” We are very pleased to announce that Nestea will continue to be marketed in Spain with the support of a partner with the track record and category of Damm. We are convinced that this new stage will be a great success and that our consumers will celebrate the fact that they will continue to have their favourite tea brand available,” said Jordi Llach, general manager of Nestlé Spain.

“This agreement represents a significant milestone for Damm. Nestea is a benchmark and leader in the segment of refreshing tea drinks that will strengthen our portfolio of products and brands, offering our customers a high-quality product that has been appreciated by all consumers for decades. We are convinced that this alliance with Nestlé will strengthen the Nestea brand in the segment of non-carbonated drinks, which has good prospects for future growth,” explains Jorge Villavecchia, CEO of Damm.

Damm has already started producing the first Nestea units, which will be available to consumers at regular points of sale from 1 January 2025.
