Optimax has signed a distribution agreement for the UK and Ireland to sell and support the range of the automated visual inspection products from Ktov.ai.

The Kitov CORE+ automated AI system is a ready-to-use tool for defect detection. It combines traditional machine vision techniques such as automated lighting control, deep learning, 2D and 3D imaging and intelligent robotic planning to generate an inspection solution fit for most industrial environments. The high speed 6-degrees robotic arm and turning table allows for fast, accurate inspection.

This automated AI system from Kitov is the perfect solution for detecting whether parts have been assembled correctly, corrosion detection, as well as dents and damage detection. The CORE+ also allows full CAD model programming and can create complex inspection routines directly from CAD models easily.

Suitable for inspecting parts up to 800mm in diameter, 500mm in height and 40kg in weight, the Kitov CORE+ is a high-end tool for safety critical applications within industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronics and defence. Its reliability compared to typical human error ensures fast and accurate inspection, even of complex components.

It comes with KITOV software which makes it easy to set a new inspection plan from either CAD files or 3D scans and then enhancing traditional 2D/3D machine vision solutions with the power of artificial intelligence/deep learning (AI/DL) to defect manufacturing defects.
