Chicago Pneumatic portable air compressors are being used by Marudhar Drilling & Borewells for deep irrigation well drilling in the Jasel, Choumi, and Churri districts of India, where bore depths reach 1,500 to 1,700 feet and ambient temperatures can rise to 50°C.
Marudhar Drilling & Borewells, which works in drilling, water well development, and groundwater exploration, has used Chicago Pneumatic equipment since 2015 across irrigation and solar projects. For deep well drilling, the company deploys three CPS 1350-425 portable air compressors, with two CPS 1200 units and one CPS 1100 used on solar work.
The irrigation projects demand steady air output at depth, long operating hours, and equipment capable of handling varied ground conditions across multiple sites. In that kind of drilling environment, compressor performance affects bore progress, hole cleaning, and overall job continuity, particularly when work is carried out far from major service centres.
Ganpatram Solanki, proprietor at Marudhar Drilling & Borewells, said: “For our irrigation wells in these districts, we needed portable air compressors that could keep a steady output at depth and hold up in tough site conditions. We chose Chicago Pneumatic because the machines match the demands of deep drilling and support different types of work.”
Chicago Pneumatic said local dealer support has also been an important part of the deployment. URSS, its authorised dealer in Rajasthan, provides on-site service and maintenance support for the machines, which is particularly important for drilling contractors working in remote and high-temperature conditions.
The company’s waterwell drilling compressor range in India is intended for high-output drilling applications where airflow, pressure, and fuel efficiency all affect project performance. More information is available via Chicago Pneumatic’s drilling compressor page.
