Techcon, part of OK International and Dover, and a global leader in precision fluid dispensing technologies, today announced the world-wide launch of their new line of Techcon Side-by-Side (SBS) Dispensing Cartridges.
The Techcon Side-by-Side Cartridge is a precise metering container for packaging and dispensing 2-component (2K) adhesives and sealants. Techcon SBS line is initially offered in two sizes, 50 ml and 200 ml, and three standard mixing ratios to accommodate the most common materials for industrial applications: 1:1, 2:1 and 10:1.
“The electronics, industrial, medical device, and automotive industries all regularly use dual cartridge dispensing for two-part materials,” explains Can La, Director of Product Management at OK International. “The new Techcon Side-by-Side line gives operations the ability to precisely package, mix, and dispense 2K materials with a short work life.”
All Techcon Side-by-Side Cartridges are made of polypropylene (PP) to meet a wide range of chemical compatibility. Techcon 50 ml SBS line includes configurations with System-A and System-B output channels, for greater versatility, and are compatible with most standard cartridge guns for high quality results.
Techcon Side-by-Side Dual Cartridges are sold as complete sets with cartridges, caps, plungers, and o-rings, in quantities of 100 and 500.
Shortly after the introduction of the 50 ml and 200 ml lines of cartridges, Techcon will release 400/490 ml dual-cartridge sets, manual dispensing guns, and individual components.
