Beginning Tuesday, August 5, 2025, this live, instructor-led virtual course is open to all professionals working in static-sensitive environments.
Held over four consecutive Tuesdays – August 5, 12, 19, and 26, from 1-3 p.m. EST – the course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of ESD control and the S20.20-2021 standard. Participants will gain insight into both the technical and administrative aspects of managing an effective ESD program, including implementation, verification, and compliance practices.
Key topics include the fundamentals of electrostatic discharge, an in-depth review of the S20.20-2021 standard, and a detailed look at ESD control items such as worksurfaces, personnel grounding systems, flooring, seating, shelving, mobile equipment, packaging, ionization, continuous monitoring systems, and protective garments. The training also covers product qualification and compliance verification procedures, helping attendees develop the knowledge needed to protect sensitive components and improve facility-wide ESD practices.
Designed for individuals new to ESD program management as well as those seeking a deeper understanding of best practices, this training will equip participants with the tools and strategies needed to implement an effective ESD control program at any scale. Those who attend all four sessions and successfully complete the related exams will receive a certificate of completion from Desco Industries.
