Special Silicone Products (SSP) will exhibit at MD&M West from February 4-6, 2025, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. SSP makes advanced materials and products for a range of industries, including medical, military, aerospace, and electronics.
EMI Shielding Elastomers
SSP manufactures electrically conductive silicones that combine environmental resistance with shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Many of these EMI shielding silicones have been independently tested, and SSP offers a full certificate of analysis (COA) with every batch.
Products include EMI shielding elastomers that are part of the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) M83528 Qualified Products List (QPL). These QPL certified materials meet the lettered requirements of the MIL-DTL-83528 standard and represents offsets to Parker Chomerics CHO-SEAL products.
Military and Aerospace Silicones
SSP also manufacturers spec-grade military and aerospace silicones, including MIL-DTL-25988 fluorosilicones, AMS silicones, and A-A-59588 silicones. The U.S. manufacturer also offers a low outgassing, low temperature satellite silicone that maintains its flexibility at temperatures as low as 116°C (-177°C).
Custom Formulations
As a full-service provider of silicone products and materials, SSP maintains an in-house laboratory for custom formulations. Examples include custom colors or durometers, the blending of different conductive fillers, and the tailoring of existing products for optimal curing and processing.
