Rubix, the European market leader for industrial distribution, has obtained an EcoVadis gold medal for the third year in a row. This reflects the company’s continuing progress on environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics.

The gold medal places Rubix in the top five percent of companies rated by the independent assessment platform, while the score of 78 – an increase of seven points compared to the previous year – means it is in the 97th percentile.

The increased score reflects enhanced ESG governance across the Group and excellent in-market initiatives, which include minimising the environmental impact of its logistics, optimising packaging and increasing its use of recyclable materials.

This is a significant accomplishment for the distributor as it continues to support its customers in achieving their own ESG targets.

Commenting on this latest achievement, Franck Voisin, Group CEO of Rubix, said: “It’s great to see that our ever-increasing focus on environmental, social and governance topics is reflected in an increased score and our third gold rating in a row.

“We will continue to work with our suppliers on supporting Europe’s green industrial transition as we help our customers along their own ESG journeys.”

As the market leading distributor for maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services in Europe, Rubix can deliver significant ESG impact for its customers.

Earlier this year, Rubix launched its latest ESG report for the 2023 financial year, reconfirming its commitment to supporting Europe’s green industrial transition and to helping its customers meet their own ESG ambitions.
