Taylors Snacks secures first UK-wide retail distribution deal

Taylors Snacks products are now available in all Aldi stores across the UK, marking the Scottish snack brand’s first supermarket listing outside of Scotland.
The move meets the UK expansion ambitions of the firms which has been hugely successful across Scotland since the company rebranded from Mackie’s Crisps in 2023.
Made at the fourth-generation Taylor family farm, Taylors Snacks award-winning crisps are produced in Errol, Perthshire. The business employs 110 people and is preparing for further growth in response to significant retail and customer demand.
Aldi will stock four of the most popular flavours: Straight Cut Mature Cheddar & Onion and Pickled Onion, and Lightly Sea Salted and Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar Ridge cut flavours, retailing at £1.25 per pack.
The current contract sends nearly 220,000 packets of crisps to Aldi stores around the country, with an expectation of more listings in the future.

The Taylors Snacks core crisp range of thick cut crisps includes flavours such as Sea Salt, Sea Salt & Vinegar, Mature Cheddar & Onion, Pickled Onion, Flame Grilled Aberdeen Angus, Haggis & Cracked Black Pepper and Chilli Kick.
In the Ridge Cut range, Taylors introduced two new flavours – Hot Buffalo Wings and Jalapeño & Mature Cheddar – in addition to the established flavours of Lightly Sea Salted, Sea Salt & Vinegar, Cheddar & Onion and Thai Sweet Chilli.
In addition to crisps, Taylors offers a range of lighter snacks such as Lentil Waves and popcorn. The Lentil Waves flavours are Sea Salt & Vinegar, Barbecue, Sour Cream & Onion and Thai Red Curry, while the popcorn is Sweet & Salted and Lightly Sea Salted. Taylors also produce a range of more indulgent popcorn, offering Toffee-coated and brand new Salted Caramel flavour.
