SodaStream partners with TV’s Merlin Griffiths to launch three new flavours

SodaStream has expanded its range to include three new flavours – Cloudy Lemonade, Orange Mango, and Passionfruit.

To launch the new range, it has partnered with celebrity bartender Merlin Griffiths on a summer drinks menu, consisting of two mocktails and one cocktail. Each recipe is accompanied by a tutorial video, making it easy to recreate the drinks at home.

Working with SodaStream, Celebrity Bartender Merlin Griffiths has curated a Summer drinks menu for the new Classic flavours:

  • Sunshine Spritz: a combination of sweet and sour, the Sunshine Spritz features the new SodaStream Classics Passionfruit and is a non-alcoholic twist on the popular passionfruit martini.
  • The San Carlo: inspired by the classic serve St Clements, the San Carlo is a light and playful citrus spritz, featuring SodaStream Classics Cloudy Lemonade.
  • Dream Soda: adding a sweet touch to any meal, the Dream Soda is inspired by retro soda fountains of the 20s and 30s America using the SodaStream Classics Orange Mango and is a family favourite.

TV’s favourite bartender Merlin Griffiths noted how drawing on his fond memories of SodaStream from childhood, and later use of the sparkling water makers in his house bar, helped him create a menu including cocktails to which people can add alcohol to if they would like and one cocktail called The San Carlo.

“What’s great about them is they’re all super easy to make and are made from ingredients anyone can get their hands on,” Griffiths explained. “And if that wasn’t enough, each of these drinks can be enjoyed as a single serving if you’re looking to treat yourself, or can be scaled up if you’re hosting your loved ones. Check out the recipe videos to learn how to make them yourself.”

SodaStream said it is providing a refreshing alternative to traditional bottled drinks, with each 440ml flavour bottle making up to nine litres of delicious beverage, reflecting the brands’ continued commitment to sustainability and helping consumers to do better for the environment.
