Yokogawa unveils modules with improved DC offset accuracy

Yokogawa introduces advanced isolation and power modules. The 720252 isolation module offers precision in DC offset adjustments, while the 720301 module ensures accurate power measurement. These innovations cater to the growing demands of energy storage and e-mobility sectors, supporting precise data acquisition and analysis.

Yokogawa Test & Measurement Corporation has unveiled its new 720252 1 MS/s 16-bit isolation module and 720301 power measurement module, designed to enhance precision in DC offset adjustment and waveform accuracy. The 720252 module, an upgrade from the 701251, extends the range of offset adjustment beyond typical digital oscilloscopes, enabling precise measurement of minute DC voltage and current variations. It features a Hi-Z (>1 GΩ) input impedance mode, reducing the load effect on battery cells, and accommodates simultaneous observation of DC levels and microvoltage fluctuations.

The 720301 module simplifies setup by integrating direct voltage and current sensor inputs, correlating power consumption with parameters like temperature and acceleration. This module supports the power analysis functions of the DL950 or SL2000, ensuring accurate DC and AC waveform measurements. It offers user-defined measurement periods for power calculations and advanced trigger functions, facilitating comprehensive power analysis.

The development of these modules aligns with the expanding energy storage infrastructure, crucial for the transition to a low-carbon economy. The 720252 caters to high-resolution fluctuation analysis in EV battery cells and AI systems, while the 720301 addresses the need for AC accuracy in high-speed data acquisition applications. These modules support R&D and quality control across the e-mobility and energy storage supply chains.

Yokogawa’s new modules are integral to applications in e-mobility, energy storage, and emergency power systems. With features like broad offset adjustment and high-speed power calculations, they meet the demands of modern industrial environments. The 720252 and 720301 modules are poised to support the industry’s shift towards sustainable and efficient energy solutions. For more details, visit Yokogawa’s official product pages.
