Primula launches limited-edition NPD to celebrate 100th anniversary

Primula is celebrating its 100th anniversary with the launch of a limited-edition, public-voted NPD.

The brand renowned for its iconic squeezy cheese created the Limited Edition Primula with Cheddar & Chorizo to commemorate a century of making squeezy cheese for generations around the world.

Available for £1.85, the new Primula product is now stocked in 450 Iceland stores across the UK.

The decision to launch this specific flavour combination comes following a consumer survey, with respondents voting for cheddar and chorizo as highly desirable.

Created for consumers with tasteful palates, the new squeeze begins with the comforting familiarity of creamy cheddar cheese, followed by a burst of chorizo, elevating the taste experience. Including real chorizo pieces adds authenticity to the product and will be popular with those seeking to add a burst of flavour to their next dish without the hassle or unnecessary cost.

Primula with Cheddar & Chorizo is not only delicious but also offers nutritional benefits, being rich in protein and calcium. Its combination of flavoursome ingredients and health-conscious attributes makes it a compelling choice for retailers seeking to expand their dairy range.

As part of Kavli Trust, Primula donates all profits to good causes. In addition to the latest product launch, Primula recently launched a national radio campaign to donate £25,000 to five nominated charities.

Last year alone, Kavli Trust donated over £3 million to UK charities and local beneficiaries.
