Military discipline in development of Sprint supply chain

Harry Fenn has joined Arundel-based Sprint Electric as supply chain manager, a key appointment for the company as they implement a global growth strategy following a wave of investment.

Harry joins with an impressive track record in supply chain management.  A qualified electrical engineer, Harry started out in project engineering for a satellite antennae manufacturer, where he successfully achieved approved supplier status for Airbus. Harry then spent five years establishing a robust supply chain for a multi-national American defence manufacturer.

Harry takes up the story:

“I joined Sprint because it offers me the opportunity to make a real difference. The exciting new technology that has been developed and the significant investment put in place for global expansion creates a big challenge in developing our supply chain and manufacturing capability.

“My role is to facilitate this growth by developing our global supply chain, whilst developing more robust quality and sustainability programmes within this,” confirms Harry.

A father of three young boys, Harry comes from a family with a strong military background. Both his brothers are in the Army and Harry has now continued the tradition, recently becoming a soldier in 106 Regiment Royal Artillery (Army Reserves).
