Energy Web has released Launchpad to enable energy companies and others to configure and deploy its decarbonisation solutions.

Launchpad, which is available on a subscription basis, should enable users to easily customise Energy Web’s solutions with templates and a UI-based wizard to deploy them either in the EW infrastructure or a private cloud.

Launchpad’s products fall into three categories.

Smartflow is designed for users to configure and deploy custom business logic using decentralised networks of worker nodes via a no-code, wizard-based user experience.

Such worker nodes ingest data from third parties, perform application-specific computational work on the data and publish the results for enterprises and/or the public to verify.

Work conducted by the nodes can be independently verified without needing to trust a single centralised entity or server.

Multiple starting templates are available based on real-world deployments in the energy sector

A blockchain API provides web3 developers with a remote procedure call (RPC) architecture API gateway for four blockchains in the Energy Web ecosystem.

Example code snippets are included alongside multiple subscription plans.

Validator-as-a-service is intended to enable users to rapidly spin up cloud-based validators on Energy Web blockchains.

Users can choose from a bring-your-own-cloud or Energy Web-managed solutions in addition to a variety of automation and support options.

Examples of the use of Smartflow are as a digital spine composer or green proofs composer.

In the case of the former, users should be able to configure private message brokers and deploy client gateways to facilitate B2B data exchange in complex energy markets.

In the case of the latter, users should be able to configure, deploy and manage a comprehensive green proof solution tailored to their business requirements.

Typical examples may include renewable energy matching or green certification.
