INNIO Group has announced that a joint venture has been established in the US with Gföllner Group to meet the rising demand for decentralised, flexible power solutions that are quick to deploy.

Austrian technical container solutions firm Gföllner Group will provide the containers for INNIO’s Jenbacher gas engines, which together will provide a modular energy solution capable of delivering over 1GW of output annually.

The container modules will be manufactured in Trenton, New Jersey with work scheduled to begin by the end of 2025.

The new company is called IGPS (INNIO Gfoellner Power Systems LLC) in which INNIO will hold a majority stake.
