Flir adds software and training bundles

Flir is bundling software, training, and warranty with camera purchases. The H1 promotion broadens the offer around premium handheld thermography.

Flir is widening the commercial pitch for its premium handheld thermal cameras by bundling warranty cover, cloud software, and instructor-led training with eligible purchases through the first half of 2026.

The offer applies to selected Exx-series and Txxx-series cameras, including E76, E86, E96, T5xx, and T8xx models, and is triggered on registration. Buyers receive five years of cover through Flir Protect, plus a choice between an 18-month Assetlink subscription for fleet and inspection-data management or a one-year Ignite Pro licence for cloud storage and reporting. A two-hour instructor-led course from the Infrared Training Center completes the package.

John Gould, Business Development Director at Flir, said the aim is to remove “barriers to expertise” from the point of purchase.

The bundle reflects a broader shift in industrial thermography. The camera body is no longer the whole proposition; workflow software, inspection traceability, reporting, user training, and service cover increasingly shape how much value a site actually gets from the instrument. Flir’s own software stack shows why: Assetlink is designed to connect thermal data to asset hierarchies and speed reporting, while Ignite is built around automatic upload, storage, sharing, and report generation from compatible cameras.

The registration flow has been streamlined as well, with serialized QR codes intended to pre-populate product data and push users directly into the redemption process. That may sound minor, but uptake for bundled services often hinges on whether registration is quick enough to be done on arrival rather than forgotten once the camera is already in the field.

The promotion runs on eligible models purchased and registered until 30 June 2026, excluding the T1k series. Registration for qualifying cameras is available here.
