Corplex aims to expand retail offering with durable and robust Correx®-made systems

Corplex – the only manufacturer of Correx® – has set its sights on expanding its retail warehouse presence through its modular picking bin solutions. Currently being used by a raft of high street brands, the AkyPak® Store solutions are made of Correx® and proven to deliver durability, stability and operational efficiency through a period of significant online growth for retailers.

Corplex’s AkyPak® Store picking bins are manufactured from Correx®, a twin-wall polypropylene plastic sheet material known for its durability, moisture resistance, and lightweight strength. Their modular design allows retailers to configure storage layouts quickly, supporting seasonal peaks and operational shifts without the waste and cost associated with single use materials.

The interconnectable nature of the bins creates stable vertical columns, ensuring secure storage even when placed on wooden pallets or moved throughout any warehouse. This stability has protected a wide range of products, from garments to accessories, reducing the risk of product damage and contributing to efficient order fulfilment of orders.

“Our customers’ continued use of our sustainable modular retail solutions in their warehouse is testament to the resilience and effectiveness of our Correx® product offering,” said Corplex CEO Lucas van der Schalk. “We have many long-term partnerships, in some cases over a decade long, underlining the durability and superior performance of Corplex’s solutions compared to conventional cardboard products.”

As ecommerce continues to expand globally, retailers increasingly seek warehouse and sustainable transit solutions that balance cost efficiency, longevity and environmental performance. Correx®’s durability means systems can be reused for many years, supporting material circularity and reducing waste compared to disposable alternatives.

“Retailers come to us because our reusable Correx® solutions are easy to reconfigure depending on peak seasonal periods,” added Lucas van der Schalk. “The modular element appeals to start-ups as well. Our solutions can help smaller online operations to scale up, and Corplex is well placed to be a valuable partner to make the most efficient use of warehouse space in a cost-effective and sustainable way.”
