KNIPEX is set to launch SkillsForge, a new online learning hub designed specifically for apprentices in the trades. This platform, going live on 9th February, offers free access to practical training content and tailored resources aimed at fostering skills, confidence, and good working habits from the outset.
To celebrate the launch, KNIPEX is offering a giveaway of its premier tools. The KNIPEX ComStrip and the Cobra 180 mm are essential for any apprentice toolkit. The Cobra 180 mm features push-button adjustment directly on the workpiece, fine adjustment, and self-clamping on pipes and nuts, ensuring secure and effortless operation.
The ComStrip Automatic Insulation Stripper is an entry-level tool designed to efficiently strip solid, multi-stranded, and finely stranded conductors. By signing up via the SkillsForge page, apprentices will be automatically entered into the draw. There are 20 ComStrips and 20 Cobras available, and entrants can select their preferred tool upon registration.
SkillsForge is focused on supporting apprentices, trainees, and educators across the electrical, plumbing, and construction industries. The hub consolidates learning and opportunities in one dedicated space. Once registered, users will receive a quarterly newsletter with updates on new tutorials, upcoming giveaways, and fresh resources.
Apprentices will have access to step-by-step tutorial videos led by KNIPEX product experts, focusing on correct tool selection, handling, and on-site application. This content is designed to instill good habits early and bolster confidence with professional-grade tools.
Educators also benefit, with resources to support classroom learning and training centre delivery. SkillsForge provides tutors with practical materials to demonstrate techniques and explain best practices. Built-in feedback surveys will enable KNIPEX to refine future content based on user input.
