Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Alice Williams as Vice President for Digital Energy in the UK and Ireland. Her role will concentrate on advancing growth and impact within the Digital Energy sector, delivering energy savings, and enhancing operational resilience for clients through Schneider’s cutting-edge energy management and automation solutions. Williams takes over from Kasim Mohammed, who transitioned to the role of VP for Services UK and Ireland earlier this year.
Williams returns to the UK operation after over six years with Schneider Electric, including her tenure as VP of US Services. In the US, she led a team of 600, driving sustainable improvements and managing over $1 billion in revenue, thereby establishing a foundation for scalable and data-driven growth across five business units. Her prior experience on the UK and Ireland Executive Committee included leading the Strategy Team, where she focused on strategy, commercial excellence, and software solutions.
Her career began in the British Army, where she led technical and multifunction teams globally, equipping her with a diverse skillset ideal for managing large-scale teams and driving operational excellence across varied regions.
Speaking on her appointment, Williams expressed enthusiasm about her return: “After almost three years in the US, I’m thrilled to be back in the UK and Ireland to champion our innovative building solutions that help realise our customers’ decarbonisation objectives. I’m excited to build on our Digital Energy growth trajectory and enable the transformation of smarter and more sustainable buildings and cities.”
Kelly Becker, Schneider Electric’s President for UK and Ireland, Belgium, and the Netherlands, remarked: “We are delighted to welcome Alice back to the UK and Ireland team. Her impressive growth record in the US and her dedication to customer success make her well-suited to lead our digital energy team towards an energy-resilient future.”
