This Halloween, power quality specialist CP Automation has unveiled a new infographic titled “Keeping Haunted Houses Open.” The visual resource, available for free download, highlights the reliance of classic monsters on electricity to maintain their scare factor.
Haunted houses, much like industrial facilities, are filled with electrical equipment, from animatronic skeletons and fog machines to lighting rigs and sound systems. These attractions are vulnerable to electrical disturbances such as harmonics, brownouts, and surges.
