Ulma Packaging UK returns to the PPMA Total Show 2025, taking place from 23-25 September at Birmingham’s NEC, where the company will showcase its latest automated packaging solutions designed to increase production efficiency, reduce labour requirements and deliver consistent, high-quality results.

At the centre of their 14x5m stand (Stand D50), there will be a fully operational TSA 680 traysealing line, integrated with a case packer. This demonstration will showcase Ulma’s ability to provide turnkey, end-of-line automation, helping manufacturers optimise throughput and reduce operational costs through streamlined, labour-efficient processes. Also on show will be the widely popular FR 200 flow wrapper, a compact, hygienic and highly flexible horizontal flow wrapping system that is ideal for a broad range of food applications. Like the TSA 680, the FR 200 will operate live, allowing visitors to see its performance, adaptability and ease of use firsthand.

James Couldwell, managing director at Ulma Packaging UK, said: “PPMA provides an excellent opportunity to bring automation to life for our customers. This year, we’re demonstrating how intelligent, integrated systems – like our TSA 680 line with case packing – can reduce costs and improve efficiency on the factory floor. With both machines running live, visitors can experience the quality, innovation and service that ULMA delivers.”

Whether exploring new automation solutions or assessing existing production issues, Ulma’s experts will be available to offer personalised advice and technical insight.

Although thermoforming and vertical form fill seal solutions will not be physically present at the stand this year, Ulma will actively discuss its full range of machinery, including vacuum and MAP thermoformers and high-speed vertical baggers – many of which are used across sectors such as fresh produce, meat, dairy, bakery and ready meals.
