The Cibus Tec Forum 2025 and OnFoods, the biggest food research ecosystem in Italy, will work together to transform the food system by combining scientific knowledge, practical projects, and technology transfer opportunities.

The OnFoods Foundation announced a strategic partnership with Cibus Tec Forum 2025, the triennial event organised by Koeln Parma Exhibitions (KPE) – a joint venture between Koelnmesse and Fiere di Parma – taking place on 28–29 October 2025 in Parma, at the heart of Italy’s Food Valley.

OnFoods, the largest Italian ecosystem for food research – established with support from the PNRR and made up of 26 partner organisations including universities, research centres, businesses, and institutions – will bring to Cibus Tec Forum 2025 its advanced scientific expertise, concrete projects, and technology transfer opportunities for the benefit of the agri-food and food tech sectors.

The Cibus Tec Forum format, structured over two days of high-content exhibition and conference activity, provides OnFoods with an ideal platform to present its research results, innovation models, and future scenarios that are reshaping the food system.

Through this partnership, OnFoods strengthens one of its core objectives: fostering structured dialogue between scientific research and industry, while staying true to its original mission — promoting healthier, more sustainable, traceable, and inclusive food production models capable of meeting major global challenges.

“Our active participation in Cibus Tec Forum 2025”, said Professor Daniele Del Rio, president of the OnFoods Foundation, “represents an important opportunity to build strategic connections, accelerate innovation processes, and support the development of concrete solutions that benefit the entire agri-food value chain.”

“Cibus Tec Forum is the hub of innovation and trends that are shaping the future of the food and beverage sector,” said Fabio Bettio, brand manager of Cibus Tec Forum. “Joining forces with a knowledge hub as significant as OnFoods means not only providing high-level scientific content, but above all offering the entire food tech community a systemic and forward-looking vision capable of generating valuable new insights for the industry.”

As part of the Cibus Tec Forum’s content and update programme, OnFoods will take an active role with dedicated scientific sessions, round tables, and interdisciplinary discussions, connecting the research world directly with leading companies from the Italian and international food and technology sectors.
