Green Custard launches IoT preventative maintenance service
Green Custard, a provider of bespoke IoT and Cloud solutions, has announced the launch of its new IoT-driven preventative maintenance service, aimed at helping businesses minimise unplanned downtime and enhance operational efficiency. This launch follows the recent decision by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to discontinue Amazon Monitron, its predictive maintenance solution.
AWS confirmed that Amazon Monitron will no longer be available to new customers as of 31st October 2024, advising existing users to explore alternative services for their IoT-based maintenance requirements. Green Custard has responded to this development by introducing a proven alternative. The service offers seamless IoT-enabled preventative maintenance solutions, helping businesses maintain operational continuity and avoid costly equipment failures and unplanned downtime.
“With Amazon Monitron winding down, we recognised an immediate need for businesses to continue accessing reliable, IoT-powered maintenance tools,” said Jonathan Custance, Director of Green Custard. “Our service is designed to simplify IoT adoption, helping businesses of all sizes stay ahead of equipment failures and maintain operational efficiency without disruption.”
As AWS phases out Amazon Monitron, Green Custard offers a straightforward transition for businesses currently relying on the service. The company is prepared to support Monitron users with a smooth migration, ensuring they continue to benefit from cutting-edge IoT-enabled maintenance technology.
