Pukka has delivered five new recipes to its savoury pastry line up, launching three individual pies and two new slices, bringing even more full-on flavour to the category.
The three new pies, including All Day Breakfast Pie, Sausage Casserole Pie, and Chicken, Ham & Leek Pie, have been launched to extend brand appeal amongst new and existing shoppers, by disrupting the pie fixture with tasty recipes which deliver on Pukka’s distinctive full-on flavour taste promise.
The All-Day Breakfast Pie follows hot on the heels of the successful launch of Pukka’s All Day Breakfast Slice, combining baked beans, mushrooms, smoked bacon and sausage all in a tomato sauce. Pukka’s Sausage Casserole Pie includes pork sausages with onions, mushrooms and carrots, and the Chicken, Ham & Leek Pie combines these ingredients in a creamy cheddar cheese sauce.
Pukka has taken the slices market by storm, baking 5 of the top 10 bestselling slices. And now, it’s solidifying its position as a savoury pastry category leader with a duo of new full-on flavour slice recipes: Cheese & Bacon Toastie Slice and Margherita Pizza Slice. First up, the Cheese & Bacon Toastie Slice wraps smoked bacon and oozy cheddar cheese sauce in a puff pastry case, offering shoppers a distinctively Pukka toastie flavour on-the-go – to be enjoyed cold or hot. Then we have the Margherita Pizza Slice, which follows the success of Pukka’s Pepperoni Pizza Slice, combining the classic flavours of tomato, mozzarella and basil for a full-on vegetarian pizza flavour.
