The UK subsidiary of industrial automation experts, STOBER, has expanded to larger premises to accommodate its growing UK presence within the world of motion control thanks to sustained growth.

Still based within the Upper Keys Business Village in Hednesford, the Centrix House complex echoes STOBER’s ethos of: ‘At home in the world of demanding motion’. The new facility offers a dedicated, purpose-designed training facility, increased office area and larger UK stock holding.

Explains Martin Preece, Head of UK Subsidiary: “In the new facility, we are able to permanently demonstrate our capabilities to size, select and support all of our system solutions for OEMs.”

Continues Martin: “The STOBER systems portfolio includes SI6, SC6 and SD6 Servo Drive Controllers in single or twin axis formats combined with our extensive geared Servo Motor range.

“We will also be able to demonstrate PROFINET, PROFIsafe, PROFIdrive EtherCAT, FSoE alongside a whole host of third-party motion controllers showing the ease of set-up and integration. It’s our LeanMotor, lighter, smaller motor technology, that bridges the gap between AC Motor and Servo Technology applications – this can all be demonstrated too.

“We will also have a range of our integrated geared servo motors – revealing the benefits of the STOBER Integrated Servo Motor Technology – saving space, time and cost, whilst providing higher performance.”

Adds Martin: “This move has been on the cards for some time now and I’m delighted to announce that it has now happened and we’re all settling in well!

“The door is always open here at STOBER and anyone interested in what we do is guaranteed a warm welcome whenever they visit. So, feel free to come and see us as we would love to discuss your motion control applications and demonstrate our capabilities.”
