Elevat has announced a technical partnership with Microsoft aimed at the IoT sector within heavy machinery industries. This collaboration integrates Elevat’s Machine Connect and Microsoft’s Azure IoT Edge, aiming to drive digital transformation and offer enhanced connectivity and insights for businesses.

Elevat Machine Connect, a IoT platform, facilitates seamless connections between devices, sensors, and machines, allowing for efficient data collection, analysis, and control. This platform is widely used in industries such as construction, agriculture, forestry, mining, utilities, work trucks, recreational vehicles, and more due to its scalability, security, and flexibility.

On the other hand, Microsoft Azure Edge brings cloud computing capabilities to the network’s edge, enabling local data processing, which reduces latency and supports rapid decision-making in crucial applications. It provides advanced analytics, machine learning, and robust security features, making it a valuable asset for IoT implementations.

The partnership between Elevat and Microsoft focuses on:

  • Enhanced Connectivity: Elevat Machine Connect will integrate closely with Azure Edge, ensuring a seamless flow of data between edge devices and the cloud, and maximising the IoT ecosystem’s potential.
  • Advanced Analytics: With Azure Edge, Elevat Machine Connect will offer on-site data analysis, delivering real-time insights for informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Scalability: This joint solution ensures scalability, enabling businesses to expand their IoT deployments in line with growth and evolving needs.
  • Security: Combining Microsoft’s solid security infrastructure and Elevat’s dedication to data protection, the partnership promises secure IoT deployments, protecting sensitive information from threats.
  • Ease of Deployment: The collaboration between Elevat Machine Connect and Azure Edge simplifies the deployment process, allowing organisations to implement IoT solutions quickly and cost-effectively.

Adam Livesay, Co-Founder of Elevat, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “Microsoft and Elevat share a vision of transforming industries through innovative IoT solutions. This collaboration will enable Industrial OEMs to fully leverage their data, opening new growth opportunities. This marks a key milestone in our journey towards a more connected and intelligent world.”
