Testing, consulting and compliance Contract Research Organisation (CRO) Broughton has appointed Stone Junction to run its science communications campaign. Broughton’s focus areas cover next generation nicotine products, cannabinoids and pharmaceuticals. It offers scientific and regulatory consultancy alongside laboratory services including stability storage and sample analysis.

“Broughton’s foundation is excellence in high-quality analytical testing, integrated with expertise in the scientific strategy and troubleshooting necessary to navigate global regulatory pathways,” said Chris Allen, CEO of Broughton. “We believe science and innovation supported by ongoing regulatory compliance contribute to a healthier world.”

“Communicating information clearly and accurately is vital to us, so we can add to the body of scientific evidence that helps inform medical practitioners, regulators, and wider society. We have been working with the Stone Junction team for a very short time now and they have already done some great work. It was definitely the right decision,” added Allen.

“Our work with Broughton is a great opportunity to communicate meaningful science,” said Leah Elston-Thompson, account director at Stone Junction. “Progress in the pharmaceutical, cannabinoid and tobacco harm reduction sectors has the potential to impact millions of people’s lives, bringing a significant public health result and improving quality of life.”
