COPA-DATA to show zenon at interpack

COPA-DATA will bring zenon automation software to interpack 2026. The platform will be demonstrated for packaging and process manufacturers dealing with digitalisation, modular production, compliance, data integrity, and legacy system integration.

COPA-DATA will present its zenon software platform at interpack 2026 as process and packaging manufacturers work through digitalisation, tighter regulatory requirements, and changing production demands.

The Austrian automation software company will exhibit in hall 8B, booth D31, at the Düsseldorf trade fair from 7 to 13 May 2026. Its demonstrations will focus on how process automation can support more flexible, data-led production across machine building, systems integration, and manufacturing operations.

“At our booth, we will demonstrate how our software technology helps to overcome challenges relating to flexibility, performance, data integrity and quality in production,” said Emilian Axinia, Director Digitalization and Machinery at COPA-DATA.

zenon is a no-code or low-code platform for industrial automation projects, with support for standards including Modular Type Package, OMAC PackML, and Weihenstephan. Those standards help machinery from different suppliers communicate and operate within production environments where changeovers, expansion, and compliance controls can add engineering complexity.

COPA-DATA will show how zenon can support digital twins, orchestrated production lines, predictive maintenance, and real-time analysis of overall system effectiveness. The platform enables production data to be collected, monitored, and analysed across machines, production lines, factories, and wider manufacturing networks.

“We will highlight how easily and flexibly the modular structure of our zenon software platform interacts with process automation,” Axinia continued.

Live demonstrations will include the human-machine interface capabilities of zenon, including visualisation and control functions for OEM machinery. The interface can be adapted for life science, food, and beverage applications, where operators must manage production visibility, batch requirements, and quality controls within tightly governed environments.

Modular production will also feature on the booth. COPA-DATA will demonstrate how zenon supports Plug & Produce concepts, helping industrial processes adapt quickly when product formats, volumes, or equipment configurations change. The company will also cover compliance, sustainability, and the modernisation of legacy systems.

System integrator ControlTech Engineering AG will join COPA-DATA at the booth to present field examples from deployed projects. CTE is a Gold Partner in the COPA-DATA Partner Community, the highest level in the company’s system integrator network.

Visitors can find COPA-DATA at interpack in hall 8B, booth D31, or access further event details through the company’s interpack information page.
