Advantech Ranked No. 5 with a Brand Value of US$632 million in the 2021 Best Taiwan Global Brands Award

Taipei, 2nd December 2021 – Advantech (TWSE: 2395), a global leader in industrial IoT, has been ranked fifth place on the Best Taiwan Global Brands list, with a brand value of US$632 million. This is also Advantech’s fourth consecutive year of being ranked in the top five since 2018.

Linda Tsai, the President of Advantech’s Industrial IoT business group, said that Advantech’s operations in the past few months have been affected by unforeseen factors such as COVID-19 and component shortages, but benefitting from the growing results of our responsive strategies, Advantech’s sales performance has rebounded steadily. With the growth of the global vaccination coverage, continuous development of AI and 5G, and strong demands from infrastructure and new energy sectors in various regions, Advantech’s cumulative revenues up to September this year have set a new high in the company’s history, indicating that the global economy is gradually recovering.

Linda further pointed out that, “During the pandemic, Advantech launched a five-year visionary plan, expecting Advantech to become one of the top 10 leading providers of global industrial IoT platforms by 2025. We want to push vigorous development in smart industry, smart city, and smart service ecosystems and promote the implementation of IoT solutions that deliver customer success.
