Siemens has launched Intelligence Center X, industrial AI orchestration software designed to connect enterprise data, workflows, and AI agents inside governed production environments.
Announced at Realize LIVE in Detroit, the software brings together shared lifecycle context, traceable processes, and policy controls so companies can embed AI into operational workflows rather than confining it to isolated pilots. Siemens describes the model as a hybrid workforce, with people and AI agents working from the same governed data foundation.
Intelligence Center X combines the Mendix low-code platform with Siemens’ Graph Studio and AI Studio software from the RapidMiner portfolio. The system is intended to create the lifecycle intelligence, industrial context, and agent orchestration layer needed to connect AI outputs directly into engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and service processes.
“Intelligence Center X helps organizations move beyond AI experimentation by embedding intelligence directly into everyday workflows, where it can be governed, scaled and trusted. When AI is connected to real business processes and enterprise data, it delivers measurable impact at scale,” said Tony Hemmelgarn, president and CEO, Siemens Digital Industries Software.
Industrial AI deployments often stall when data remains fragmented across engineering systems, operational technology, ERP platforms, and supply chain tools. Intelligence Center X is designed to work alongside existing enterprise and operational data environments, giving companies an orchestration layer without requiring a wholesale replacement of installed systems.
Siemens pointed to early customer deployments to demonstrate operational use. Vivix Vidros Planos, a Brazilian flat glass manufacturer, has deployed nearly 30 Mendix applications connecting OT and IT data across SAP S/4HANA, Siemens Industrial Edge, and Snowflake. According to Siemens, the deployment reduced production issue resolution time by 85%, recaptured 6,000 hours of manual work in a year, and cut customer complaint resolution from five days to under one.
Axiz Digital has also deployed Intelligence Center X for an end-to-end pricing use case, combining AI and machine learning modelling with application development and process orchestration. Siemens said the project achieved a 95% reduction in manual effort and 100% accuracy in data ingestion.
As part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, Intelligence Center X will be available through three deployment patterns: layered on Siemens AI products, used as a standalone platform for asset-intensive organisations running other OT vendors, or deployed as a broader agentic enterprise platform in sectors including financial services, healthcare, government, and retail.
