Brightly takes Asset Essentials to Maintec

Brightly Software will showcase Asset Essentials at Maintec in Birmingham. The Siemens-owned business will demonstrate how connected asset data can move maintenance teams from reactive repair towards predictive planning and automated work order generation.

Brightly Software, a Siemens company, will demonstrate Asset Essentials at Maintec 2026, showing how its enterprise asset management and CMMS platform connects maintenance activity, plant data, and management visibility.

The company will exhibit on Stand J46 at Maintec, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham on 3–4 June 2026 as part of Smart Manufacturing Week. The event brings together maintenance, reliability, asset management, and manufacturing technology providers focused on improving uptime and plant performance.

Asset Essentials gives manufacturers a single platform for asset management, work orders, lifecycle data, spare parts inventory, purchasing, compliance, analytics, and reporting. By connecting older and previously disconnected assets through smart IoT-enabled technology, the system helps maintenance teams monitor performance, generate work orders, and identify deterioration before failure causes unplanned downtime.

Live demonstrations on the stand will show how real-time machine data can automate maintenance workflows, trigger work orders, support planning and scheduling, and improve visibility across maintenance, engineering, and operations. The platform is also designed to keep asset and maintenance records in one cloud-based system, supporting traceability across dispersed equipment and teams.

As part of Siemens, Brightly combines EAM and CMMS capability with links into industrial automation technologies, including WinCC SCADA and Siemens PLCs. Plants that already generate operational data through machines and control systems can use those signals directly in maintenance and asset management workflows.

Tom Reames, Account Director, Brightly Software, said: “Maintec provides a great opportunity for us to introduce Asset Essentials to the UK manufacturing market. Our mobile-first CMMS and Asset Management is built for modern operations, and at the event, we will be demonstrating how connected maintenance can help manufacturers improve uptime, visibility, and operational efficiency.

“Asset Essentials connects maintenance technicians, assets, and work orders in one intuitive platform with AI Insights. As a Siemens company, we understand that many maintenance teams are running inconsistently because their software is disconnected from their machines. In utilising Asset Essentials, manufacturers can move beyond reactive maintenance by linking machine data directly into maintenance workflows and asset management processes. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand and sharing insights.”

Manufacturing sites continue to face pressure to reduce downtime, extend equipment life, and use machine data more effectively without adding complexity to day-to-day maintenance work. Brightly’s Maintec demonstrations will focus on that link between connected assets, technician workflows, and operational decision-making.
