Delta says more than one million industrial vehicles worldwide have now been charged using its MOOV Series conductive and wireless charging technology, marking a milestone the company is using to underline the maturity of electrified infrastructure in automated logistics. The installed base spans AGVs, AMRs, forklifts, and heavier industrial vehicles working in 24/7 warehouse and production environments.
The number matters less as a headline than as a proxy for installed-field confidence. Charging infrastructure is still one of the quieter failure points in automated intralogistics: it has to handle fleet growth, support opportunity charging without choking workflows, integrate with fleet and energy management systems, and survive harsh operating conditions. Delta’s argument is that its MOOV platform now has enough runtime behind it to be treated as proven infrastructure rather than interesting kit.
Daniel Doerflinger, general manager of the Industrial and Medical Business Unit at Delta Energy Systems, said customers are relying on the portfolio for uptime, efficiency, and long-term operational stability. The company’s range covers 1 kW to 30 kW and includes both conductive and wireless charging. Delta says its MOOVair wireless systems are designed to reduce wear and maintenance by removing mechanical connectors, while MOOVbase conductive chargers have passed more than one billion charging cycles in continuous logistics operation.
That distinction matters because different fleet types are still settling on different charging strategies. AGVs and AMRs lend themselves to embedded opportunity charging during process pauses, while forklifts and heavier-duty vehicles often need faster, higher-power infrastructure or a more explicit charging architecture. Delta says interest in wireless charging is now spreading beyond lighter automated vehicles into forklift and heavy-duty applications where maintenance reduction and automation are becoming part of the business case.
As intralogistics operators push for higher throughput with tighter energy and labour constraints, charging systems are becoming strategic infrastructure rather than background utilities. Delta is set to showcase the MOOV range at LogiMAT 2026. More information is available on Delta’s industrial battery charging page.
