Nigel Lee, chief strategy officer, is on the Robosys stand at Autonomous Ship Expo 2024 (co-located with Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe) to talk about the company’s software for autonomous navigation and vessel control, integrating sensors, creating paths and avoiding collisions. As Lee explained to Electric & Hybrid Marine Technology International, the software enables Degree 4 autonomy, allowing vessels to operate independently.

The company focuses on alternative fuels, electric propulsion and sensor integration and is involved in projects such as ACUA Ocean (a hydrogen-powered USV) and self-navigating software, contributing to the rapidly growing market for unmanned surface vessels.
