In an exclusive interview, Golam Sadeghnia, CEO at Oktogrid, explains some of the current challenges and trends for the electricity grid and the available solutions. Oktogrid’s technology allows electricity providers to add a digital interface to any transformer in less than ten minutes with no tooling needed.

The method gives non-invasive access to critical transformer and grid performance data in realtime making it possible to monitor, forecast, and react to local congestions and reduce cost of asset management.

Oktogrid effectively turns an energy challenge into a data science opportunity for electricity transmission and distribution companies to build data-driven organisations; enabling them to make new decisions in a new energy scenario for a cleaner future.
