Back to In-Person Events, The NEC Has Never Seemed So Inviting
Autumn is upon us, at least meteorologically speaking, and it is also the season for a dramatic increase in manufacturing and engineering trade shows. With ‘in-person’ being a thing once again, 3DPRINTUK is excited to be physically exhibiting at two manufacturing shows in the UK over the coming weeks.
First up, 3DPRINTUK will be participating at the SUBCON event, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham 14-16th September. Located in Hall 12, SUBCON will be collocated with The Engineer Expo and the Manufacturing Management events, and attendees will find 3DPRINTUK on stand D78. Then at the end of the month 3DPRINTUK will return to the NEC for TCT3sixty. This time we will be in Hall 3, stand J28, and the show will be co-located with Interplas.
Visitors to any or all of these shows will be able to access the newly designed 3DPRINTUK stands and meet and talk with members of our team to discover how our range of polymer powder bed fusion (PBF) 3D printing services can support their prototyping and low volume production needs. 3DPRINTUK has printed more than 2 million parts since the start of 2020, many of which have provided on-demand batch production parts for a wide range of customers from across the industrial spectrum. In many cases, this has alleviated supply chain disruptions.
Sample production parts as well as functional prototypes will be displayed on the stands at SUBCON & TCT3sixty for attendees to asses for themselves. There will also be a range of samples that demonstrate the full breadth of post-processing services that 3DPRINTUK can offer. This includes colour options, shot-peened and polished parts. All of 3DPRINTUK’s post processing options have been through months of R&D to ensure they maintain consistency and quality across batch production.
Nick Allen, CEO at 3DPRINTUK says, “The last 18 months have been incredibly challenging for reasons that we are all aware. At 3DPRINTUK we have been incredibly busy both fulfilling increasing volumes of orders and expanding the business, but nothing beats getting back out there and meeting people face-to-face again. The team and I are really looking forward to — safely — re-engaging with people at both SUBCON and TCT3sixty and introducing them to some of the new services we now offer, implemented as part of an internal expansion plan since the beginning of 2020.”
The 3DPRINTUK team will be on site and available to discuss any 3D printing requirements for the full duration of both shows.
