Tim Tam introduces first global supermarket initiative

Australia’s Tim Tam biscuit launches a new UK Twin Pack. The popular chocolate biscuit will now be available in the UK as part of the Tesco Meal Deal or individually in select Tesco Express stores from 26th October, offering a convenient snack option for commuters and chocolate lovers alike.

Australia’s renowned Tim Tam biscuit has introduced a new Twin Pack format to the UK market, marking a global supermarket first. This initiative responds to consumer demand for a more portable version of the beloved treat. The Twin Pack will be available in selected Tesco Express outlets, either as part of the Tesco Meal Deal or as a standalone purchase.

Tesco Meal Deals are a staple of British consumer culture, and the inclusion of Tim Tam’s Twin Pack provides a new, convenient on-the-go option. This launch allows consumers to enjoy the chocolatey biscuit during commutes, enhancing the daily snack experience.

Priced at an RRP of £1, the Tim Tam Twin Pack Original offers an accessible indulgence. Amber Dutkiewicz, Tim Tam’s market development manager for the UK and Ireland, stated, “Tim Tam has proven to be incredibly popular in the UK since our launch last year, and the demand to have Tim Tam in an on-the-go format has been strong. We are excited to offer the opportunity to enjoy Tim Tam in a travel-friendly, snack size two biscuit pack format that is also available in the iconic Tesco Meal Deal.”

This launch reflects a broader trend towards portable snack options, especially in urban environments where convenience is paramount. As companies continue to adapt to changing consumer preferences, the introduction of smaller, travel-friendly packaging formats is likely to increase.
