Record Demand for the July 2020 Farnborough International Airshow

Organisers of the July 2020 Farnborough International Airshow confirm record demand for space and that work is underway to accommodate more exhibitors.

The Airshow’s ability to attract worldwide attendance, something underpinned by features, events and opportunities – from the Delegations Programme and Meet the Buyer event, through to the FINN Sessions – make the Farnborough International Airshow the strategically important show in 2020.

Aerospace sustainability is to be the leading theme for July’s Airshow with organisers planning to explore a number of aspects of sustainability including environmental, financial, and future workforce.

Future workforce, a major concern for industry, is at the heart of the Airshow’s Farnborough Friday event taking place on 24 July. Farnborough Friday is being developed to enable global industry to engage with the next generation of innovators and pioneers, and provide insight into the wealth of career opportunities available throughout the dynamic industries represented at the show.

Other themes of focus during July’s Airshow will be the Space industry; combat air, and all aspects of the urban air sector. These have been developed following close consultation with industry, ensuring content reflects the priority areas of focus for our customers.

Gareth Rogers, CEO of Farnborough International says: “We know that the convening power of the Farnborough International Airshow is the major factor driving demand for space; it provides an important opportunity for companies from around the world to meet and do business.

“We’ve had a great response from our customers following moves by the Farnborough International team to establish a more informed understanding of their objectives. Exhibitors are moving beyond simply taking space, they’re using the show as a platform from which to tell their organisation’s story and are relying on us to help provide solutions which amplify their presence.”
