PSB Industries will showcase its NG-EV Natural Gas Dryer at BIOGAS AMERICAS 2026 in Detroit, presenting a dual-vessel drying system for biogas and renewable natural gas projects.

The Erie, Pennsylvania-based company will exhibit in Booth 501 at the event, which runs from 18–21 May 2026 and is organised by the American Biogas Council. BIOGAS AMERICAS is expected to bring nearly 2,000 professionals to Detroit, with more than 300 exhibitors across 35,000 sq ft of exhibit space.

PSB’s NG-EV system is a dual-vessel, fully automatic regeneration dryer designed for medium to large volumes of natural gas in continuous-use stations. In biogas and renewable natural gas plants, moisture removal protects compressors, supports consistent gas quality, and reduces the risk of corrosion or downstream process instability.

Positioned upstream of natural gas compressors, the dryer is designed to keep treatment capacity available without interrupting the gas stream. One vessel dries the gas while the other regenerates or remains in standby mode, allowing operators to maintain continuous drying rather than relying on a manually cycled or single-vessel arrangement.

A DDP Digital Dew Point Meter indicates the effluent dew point, giving operators a direct view of outlet conditions and drying performance. The standard package also includes factory-fitted inlet and outlet filtration, with a pre-filter removing dirt and aerosols before the dryer media and an after-filter removing desiccant dust from the treated gas.

Differential pressure indicators are supplied on both filters, allowing maintenance teams to monitor loading and plan service intervals before performance declines. The configuration is aimed at facilities where stable gas quality and predictable equipment uptime are central to commercial operation.

The NG-EV is built around recognised pressure vessel and process piping standards. PSB says the vessels are manufactured and stamped in accordance with ASME Section VIII, with piping designed to ASME B31.3. Electrical construction follows NEMA and NEC standards, supporting installation in code-governed industrial environments.

Regeneration is carried out through a closed-loop system for the molecular sieve adsorbent. The package uses an insulated adsorber vessel and electric heater to conserve heat during regeneration, with an Incoloy sheath, low-watt-density, flanged immersion-type electric heater forming part of the thermal design.

Technical information on the NG-EV dryer is available from PSB Industries.
