Provisur Technologies presents latest innovations at FoodEx 2023

Provisur Technologies will use FoodEx (24-26 April 2023 Birmingham) to showcase the company’s latest innovation – the Formax slicer SX330 – among many others.

In line with the company slogan “Provisur – many legacies, endless possibilities”, Provisur will also present systems and technologies for mixing and grinding, defrosting, marinating, cooking (DMC) and separation, featuring the company’s legacy brands.

The leading industrial food processing equipment manufacturer, with a subsidiary in Telford, UK, will display the versatile Formax slicer SX330, which offers configuration for a wide range of products, and provides high-performance slicing of bacon, deli meats, fresh meat, and cheese. It is ideal for manufacturers looking for a small footprint, high throughput, and low maintenance, as well as those looking for a smooth and professional changeover to automated food processing.

Also featured at FoodEx is the Hoegger meat press X3 from the Hoegger line – another high-yield, small footprint solution that minimises costs. It is the perfect form press for a variety of meat products: bacon, fresh meat, and specialties, as well as providing expert handling of bone-in products.

For further processing both the Weiler and Formax brands provide expertise. The new high-performance Novamax 150/400 former is designed to ensure fast processing when forming burger patties, meatballs, chicken nuggets, and more. The versatility of this machine extends to forming alternative protein into patties and nuggets. Additionally, Provisur’s Weiler brand includes a wide range of innovative mixing & grinding for meat, poultry, and seafood.

In the area of defrosting, marinating, cooking (DMC), high-quality food safety is paramount. A leading Provisur brand for tumbling and defrosting is Lutetia. Using chambers and tumbler processes, Lutetia is ideal for delicate products that require gentle handling during defrosting, smoking, or cooking. Lutetia minimises cycle times and improves product quality. The system produces dried and smoked products of consistent high quality and maximises throughput. Lutetia’s cold convection functionality ensures speedy and safe defrosting.

For separation where maximum yield, and first-class results are required, there is a mix of rotation, belt and pressing technology, the Provisur portfolio is unique in providing all necessary separation systems for the efficient processing of meat, poultry, and other raw materials such as potatoes, fruit, and vegetables. With machines from AM2C, Beehive and Hoegger, Provisur offers solutions for a broad range of applications that have one thing in common: high-yield separation of bone fragments, sinew, cartilage, and other material.
