Microchip expands its PIC32CM PL10 microcontrollers

Microchip introduces new microcontrollers for robust 5 V environments. The PIC32CM PL10 family extends the Arm Cortex-M0+ range, offering a bridge for designs transitioning from 8-bit platforms. These microcontrollers target high-volume control applications, promising pin compatibility and enhanced noise immunity for challenging environments.


Microchip has unveiled the PIC32CM PL10 series of 32-bit microcontrollers, broadening its Arm Cortex-M0+ offerings. Designed for 5 V environments, the PL10 provides a seamless transition from 8-bit systems, catering to high-volume applications such as industrial control, building automation, and sensor-heavy subsystems. The microcontrollers feature an Arm Cortex-M0+ CPU, running up to 24 MHz, and support a supply range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V.
