Lakrids by Bülow opens pop-up store in UK
Danish confectionery brand LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW is continuing its mission to make the world love liquorice by launching a new pop-up London store.
From 1 March, liquorice lovers will be able to visit the pop-up located in London’s St. Pancras Station, and claim a free gift with purchase on offer for the store’s first opening week.
The store will also offer complimentary tastings for visitors, in an attempt to convert any haters into true liquorice lovers.
Often deemed as one of the world’s most polarising flavours, some may view the ingredient of liquorice as a nostalgic treat, others find it not to their taste.

Building on the fast track success and cult appeal of the range in the UK, LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW continues to make its mark in the UK, now popping up at London’s most prestigious and international station for four months.
Founder, Johan Bülow said the company is thrilled to announce the launch of the store landing in the UK.
“It marks a pivotal moment for the brand as we continue our dedicated mission of making the world love liquorice,” he said. “With our new store, we aim to offer Londoners a truly unique taste experience, rooted in Danish craftsmanship.”
Since Johan Bülow opened his first ever store in Svaneke in 2007, he has changed the way the Danes view liquorice – and now he’s on a mission to change the rest of the world’s too, landing in the UK as the next stop.
The brand is currently on UK shores since 2021 across Selfridges, Fenwick, and Harvey Nichols.
The full LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW range will be available in the new St. Pancras store, including the much-loved chocolate covered liquorice, in a range of exciting flavours, as well as the popular SLOW CRAFTED range.
LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW uses recyclable packaging for all of its products, with its latest innovation being recycled glass jars. Not only is LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW the first confectionery producer in the world to make jars from 100% recycled and recyclable plastic, the glass jars have been designed for reuse. What’s more, since 2020, the factory has been running on 100% green energy.
