Kurtz Ersa Inc. to Hold Selective Solder Training Courses in Ft. Worth


Kurtz Ersa Inc., a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, is pleased to announce the dates for its next highly anticipated VERSAFLOW 3 Maintenance and Application Training Courses. The courses will take place at the Kurtz Ersa facility in Ft. Worth, TX. The VERSAFLOW 3 Selective Soldering Level II Maintenance Training Course is scheduled from Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. to Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 5 p.m. Following this, the VERSAFLOW 3 Selective Soldering Level II Application Training Course will be held from Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. to Friday, July 21, 2023 at 5 p.m.

During the Application Course, participants are encouraged to bring or ship any challenging products to the facility. This will allow Ersa’s application specialist to assist in fine-tuning their program and achieve the best possible process time. Both courses aim to provide attendees with the necessary knowledge to optimize the performance of their selective soldering machines, minimizing downtime and increasing productivity.

The VERSAFLOW 3 series is the most widely utilized in-line selective soldering machine globally. Renowned for its exceptional flexibility and high throughput, this system takes up minimal space while delivering outstanding results. To meet diverse requirements with utmost flexibility, the third generation of Ersa’s VERSAFLOW selective soldering systems is built on a modular platform.

The Maintenance Course will focus on training participants in proper maintenance techniques for the VERSAFLOW 3, ensuring uninterrupted operation. Alongside an in-depth machine overview, the course will cover preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and more.

The Application Course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and hands-on experience required for effective process application and programming on the VERSAFLOW 3 selective soldering machine. The course aims to empower students to maintain their processes with minimal to zero defects and achieve maximum throughput.
