Award-winning, wellbeing infusions pioneer D’Amazonia is extending its ‘feelgood’ lineup with a mass-market Menopause brew for 2024.

The release is part of a number of highly pertinent, mass-market functional brews due for launch this year.

13m women in the UK are currently perimenopausal or menopausal which constitutes 1/3rd of the female population. Menopausal women are the fastest growing demographic in the workforce (Faculty of Occupational Medicine), with eight out of ten menopausal women actively working.

In the UK the average age is 51, albeit one in 100 women will experience the menopause before they hit 40. Typical symptoms include: fatigue, sleep disturbances, night sweats, hot flushes, heart palpitations, anxiety/irritability and muscular aches.

This beguiling blend made with nine beneficial ingredients includes: hibiscus (supports cardiovascular health) rosehip (proud anti-inflammatory properties), passion flower leaf (calming prowess) and hawthorn (helps lower blood pressure) is the proud creation of renowned scientist Dr Carlos Tavares, who was recently named one of the most influential scientists in the world by Stanford University. Dr Tavares holds a PhD in Pharmaceuticals & Medicine whilst possessing an unrivalled grasp of the Amazonian biome.

According to D’Amazonia co-founder Marcela Tupinamba, the primary goal is to be a vocal advocate for best-in-class hot beverages that offer a mesmerising mix of lingering flavours, aromas and deep-rooted, healthier living benefits.

“We started out with a digestive brew, a health & wellness beverage and a superior sleep tea in 2021. Therefore, it made perfect sense that our fourth recipe tackled yet another mass-market ailment,” Tupinamba said.

Each fully recyclable pouch (£11) contains 20 bio-degradable pyramid tea bags that can be used twice. D’Amazonia has a long-standing alliance with One Tree Planted charity that means a tree is planted for every order made.
