Single-channel controller enhances water treatment efficiency

ProMinent unveils versatile DULCOMETER diaLog C controller. This innovative entry-level device supports all ProMinent sensors and excels in industrial water treatment, simplifying dosing tasks with precise control over pumps. Its intuitive operation and flexible integration make it ideal for diverse applications, enhancing efficiency in both industrial and municipal settings.

ProMinent has launched the DULCOMETER diaLog C, a cutting-edge controller designed to meet the evolving demands of water quality management across various sectors. This device supports all ProMinent sensors and functions as either a transmitter or a two-way controller. It excels in industrial water treatment by precisely controlling two pumps, ensuring optimal dosing and resource utilisation.

The DULCOMETER diaLog C is engineered for seamless integration into diverse systems and accommodates various sensor types. Its user-friendly interface, featuring a graphical display and straightforward menu navigation, requires no prior technical expertise. Andreas Zühlcke, Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at ProMinent, stated, “With the DULCOMETER diaLog C, we are focusing on a solution that makes our customers’ everyday work noticeably easier. Our aim is to make water treatment as simple and safe as possible, regardless of the industry or application.”

This controller targets operators and planners of water treatment plants, engineering companies, and both industrial and municipal users. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including beverage production, chemical processing, semiconductor manufacturing, hospitality, and wastewater treatment. ProMinent’s expansion of its water analysis and control portfolio provides users with a practical, easy-to-operate solution adaptable to numerous environments.

A notable feature is the synergy between the DULCOMETER diaLog C and the forthcoming DULCOEYE LT optical sensor, set for release in March 2026. This sensor detects minute changes in water turbidity and relays data directly to the controller, which adjusts dosages accordingly. This integration ensures consistent process control, even under varying conditions or complex operational demands, thereby maintaining transparency in water quality metrics.
