Atlas Copco Group has acquired Zind Verfahrenstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, a German distributor of filtration products based in Mainz. Established in 1998, Zind employs 11 people and supplies filter cartridges and capsules for air, gas, and process liquids, alongside filter housings and spare parts. Their clientele includes industrial manufacturers across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, water, electronics, food and beverage, and general industry.
Philippe Ernens, Business Area President for Compressor Technique, stated, “We are pleased to welcome Zind to the Group. This acquisition is fully in line with our ambition to further enhance our process filtration solutions and will strengthen our presence in Germany.”
The financial terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed. However, in 2024, Zind reported revenues of approximately 6.8 million euros. The business now forms part of the Medical Gas Solutions division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
This acquisition aligns with Atlas Copco’s strategy to expand its market footprint in Germany, a critical hub for industrial innovation and manufacturing. The integration of Zind’s specialised filtration products is expected to enhance Atlas Copco’s service offerings and provide a competitive edge in the process filtration market.
