Acceed introduces new edge AI controller

Acceed’s latest controller enhances industrial AI hardware capabilities. The GT-92RL-H controller offers robust, fanless design with high I/O density. It supports GPU-accelerated data processing in harsh environments, maintaining performance without active cooling. The device is crucial for AI in remote or mobile operations.

Acceed has unveiled the GT-92RL-H controller, enhancing its portfolio with a cutting-edge edge platform designed for industrial AI applications. This robust, fanless controller is engineered to meet increasing demands for mobile and maintenance-free GPU performance across vehicles, production lines, energy plants, and security systems.

The GT-92RL-H is housed in a 19″ rack enclosure and features dedicated GPU capabilities within a fanless architecture, making it ideal for environments where conventional IT solutions often fail. It supports 12th to 14th generation Intel processors, with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of up to 65W. The integrated Nvidia RTX 2000 ADA GPU acts as an energy-efficient AI accelerator, excelling in demanding inference tasks. Both the CPU and GPU benefit from a passively cooled system, ensuring reliable operation in ambient temperatures ranging from -40 to +55°C.

Equipped with nine Gigabit Ethernet ports through robust M12X sockets, the GT-92RL-H facilitates direct connections to IP or GigE Vision cameras. It also includes four USB 3.2 ports for additional sensors, an internal M.2 slot with PCIe Gen4x4 enabling NVMe storage at data rates up to 7000 MB/s, and two SATA interfaces for expanded storage. Two Mini PCIe slots are available for connecting mobile radio modules, GNSS, or MVB.

The GT-92RL-H excels in performing GPU-accelerated data processing under challenging conditions, without active cooling or sacrificing standardised interfaces. Its compact 2U design and flexible mounting options make it suitable for applications requiring robust, maintenance-free real-time AI at the point of action. Neousys targets not only railway and commercial vehicle sectors but also industrial vision and AI systems where traditional server installations are impractical, such as in compact control rooms, mobile facilities, or remote locations lacking air conditioning.
