TNA to showcase integrated confectionery line at ProSweets 2026

TNA Solutions will present its latest processing and packaging systems for confectionery. The showcase highlights complete line integration for improved efficiency, hygiene, and product flow.

TNA Solutions will place line integration at the centre of its ProSweets 2026 presence, arguing that confectionery plants handling gummies, jellies, liquorice, and nutraceutical formats now need tighter coordination between processing and packaging stages to maintain throughput. The company maintains that the industry’s rising volume of sticky, sugar-dusted, and oil-coated products is exposing weak points between traditionally separate equipment groups — particularly at transfer points where buildup and misfeeds can generate avoidable downtime.

The business will demonstrate how its combined portfolio — expanded significantly after its acquisition of starch-moulding specialist NID — can be configured as a connected line from kitchen operations and mogul handling through to glazing, bagging, and case packing. The rationale is straightforward: if moulding, conditioning, de-moulding, finishing, and packaging operate to a shared logic, line speed becomes easier to maintain and operators face fewer manual interventions.

On the packaging side, TNA plans to show the tna robag 3e with bespoke tna intelli-weigh scales for difficult confectionery formats. The company has prioritised dust extraction, sieving, and material-flow stability to keep sticky or sugar-heavy items moving consistently into the forming tube. Its sealing system, designed for the multi-layer films used in premium packs, is intended to preserve integrity at higher speeds while supporting frequent format changes.

Finishing operations will be represented by the tna conti-oil system, which delivers controlled glazing using a rotating stainless-steel drum and a gentle lifting-and-rolling action. With a claimed capacity of up to 2,200 kg/hr, the technology aims to provide consistent colour and surface finish while managing residue — a point of practical concern for plants subject to tight allergen and hygiene oversight.

TNA argues that addressing issues such as clumping, product slowdown, and inconsistent transfer is best achieved by treating the production line as a single engineered system rather than a collection of machines. “As global demand for gummies, jellies, and other confectionery formats continues to grow, manufacturers are seeking reliable solutions that combine flexibility, hygiene, and high product quality,” said James Hosford, Regional Solution Specialist, TNA Solutions. He noted that integrated control can reduce buildup and preserve transfer speeds, supporting continuous operation.

TNA’s team will be available throughout ProSweets 2026 to discuss line configuration for confectionery and nutraceutical products, with demonstrations running from stand D-059 in Hall 10.1 between 1–4 February. The company is framing integration not as an equipment trend but as a practical approach to safeguarding uptime in a sector where product stickiness and format variation demand closer coordination across the line.
