Sunshine Punch Orange Cream Liqueur is set to make its debut in the UK drinks market this month, aligning itself with the expanding ready-to-serve drinks sector. This innovative liqueur blends rum, cream, and citrus to offer a refreshing alternative to traditional cream liqueurs. With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 18%, it is crafted for enjoyment from afternoon into the evening.
The product, ready for immediate distribution, is expected to make a significant impact on retail shelves and bar menus by Spring 2026. Its versatility — suitable for sipping, shooting, shaking, or slushing — positions it as an ideal choice for various social settings, from home gatherings to bars.
Targeting consumers aged 25 to 40, Sunshine Punch distinguishes itself with a matte orange bottle and blue branding, symbolising sunny days and clear skies. Created by Matt Hemmings and Brian Thomason in North Carolina in 2023, the brand has gained traction across 30 US states and is now venturing into Europe with the UK as its launch pad. Partnering with Brand Harbour, the aim is to redefine the classic cream liqueur market.
Nick Woodward from Brand Harbour expressed confidence in replicating the brand’s US success in the UK, drawing on their experience with American brands. Red Star Brands will serve as the exclusive UK distributor, with Ryan McCann optimistic about the trade’s reception of Sunshine Punch, highlighting its packaging and flavour as key selling points.
Matt Hemmings, co-founder of Sunshine Punch, emphasises the brand’s ethos of fun and memorable experiences, aspiring to establish it as the drink of choice by 2026. A comprehensive marketing campaign will support the launch, focusing on the liqueur’s vibrant imagery and flavour.
Sunshine Punch is now available to the UK drinks sector through Red Star Brands, with a recommended retail price of £25 per 70cl bottle.
