CWIEME Berlin marks 30 years in industry

CWIEME Berlin 2026 marks three decades of industry leadership. The event promises an expanded show floor, dedicated zones, and a focus on connection and innovation. This milestone edition will celebrate the transformative energy driving the electrical manufacturing industry, aiming to strengthen global supply chains and foster sustainable growth.

CWIEME Berlin, Europe’s premier exhibition for coil winding, transformer, electric motor, and e-mobility technologies, will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026. The event, set to take place at Messe Berlin from May 19-21, promises to be the most dynamic yet, with an expanded show floor and new dedicated zones, highlighting the theme “Where Power Meets Progress.”

Building on the success of 2025, which saw over 12,000 attendees and nearly 500 exhibitors from 87 countries, the 2026 edition will introduce numerous new features to meet the evolving demands of the global electrical engineering supply chain. A key highlight is the new Electric Motor Forum, serving as a content and networking hub for the European motor industry. The forum will feature exhibition stands, roundtables, and expert-led sessions focusing on strategic sourcing, reshoring, innovative materials, design strategies, and sustainable manufacturing processes.

The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Club will return, expanding to host delegations from various companies in the sector. It will facilitate collaboration through roundtables and networking sessions. Additionally, the Central Stage agenda will introduce a new content stream offering insights into the entire electrical engineering ecosystem, spotlighting innovations and strategies for a smarter, cleaner power network.

Senior executives will benefit from the enhanced C-Suite Club, providing an exclusive environment for strategic discussions and networking among industry leaders. Melissa Magestro, portfolio director at CWIEME, stated, “We’re not just marking a milestone. We’re connecting the community that will shape the future of the electrical engineering industry.”
